Spokane Cross Country added another major accolade this fall as sophomore Alex Wright was named the 2025 NWAC Baden Men’s Cross Country Athlete of the Year.
A dominant team performance earned Spokane the 2025 NWAC men’s cross country crown, led by Alex Wright’s individual title and Coach Sean McLachlan’s recognition as Coach of the Year.
On familiar ground in Airway Heights, the Spokane men’s cross country team ran with purpose, led by standout efforts across the board at the Sasquatch Invite.
Freshman Alex Wright etched his name in Spokane history, breaking the school record and leading a wave of personal bests for the Sasquatch men’s cross country team at the Linfield George Oja Invitational.
Facing a deep and competitive field, the Sasquatch men turned in solid performances at the Charles Bowles Invitational, led by Anders Nielson’s.
The Sasquatch turned in strong performances at the WSU Cougar Classic Friday evening, with the women racing the 6k and the men the 8k at the Colfax Golf Course.
